Welcome to Capture! How many times have you looked through your photos and thought, “Now that would be a really good picture but what a shame it's too dark and not quite the right shape.” And so Capture began...

...I trained as Industrial Designer at Brunel University in West London — a fantastic four years of my life! My first professional job took me to Holland where I worked as a product designer for a company who makes gambling machines. I worked on fruit machines, one-arm bandits and video games. It was great fun and I met some really lovely people. I also learnt to speak Dutch, which my children think sounds very funny!

I returned to England and within three weeks landed myself a dream job (well for a product designer!). It was working as designer for Kenwood Appliances. It was brilliant — no two days were the same and of course we had to do lots of testing which kept me alert whilst I was designing coffee makers, refreshed whilst on water filters, and I won't go into what happened when they put me on deep fat fryers and food processors! Thank goodness I joined a gym!!! During my time at Kenwood three of my designs were awarded European and Worldwide patents.

I married a wonderful man and decided to put all my efforts into helping him to set up and run his business.

We had two beautiful children, which is my greatest achievement so far! We couldn't stop taking photos of our lovely children and it was then that I became interested in digital photography and enhancement. This led me to a job with Venture studios, which once again was a very enjoyable time for me.

Over the last few years I have enjoyed making art out of our photos and now I want it to be my business. Capture is all about taking your pictures and turning them into a piece of art that you will be proud to hang on the wall.
