How do I place an order?
Browse through the galleries and get an idea for the sort of art you would like. You then need to look through your own photographs to see if you have got something suitable, which can be worked on. Once you have done this you need to choose the size and finish for your art. Once you have done this you can fill out the contact form or alternatively ring Capture on 07717 570622.
How much will it cost?
There are different categories of art. Each category will outline a price excluding printing. This will be added to the final print cost based on which size and finish you choose. Postage and package will be outlined when you make your order.
How do I pay you?
Once you have seen and approved your proofs you will be required to pay in full. You can pay by postal cheque. Please ring Capture for postal details on 07717570622.
Sometimes, if the ...
...order you have placed is unusually large you may be asked to pay a deposit before you see the proofs. You will be told about this upon placing the order.
Can I send you my original photograph?
If your original photograph is not digital then of course it is possible to send your original photo however there is a risk that it may become damaged or lost in transit to or from Capture. It is always worth using the best courier service possible when pictures are precious. Please phone Capture for details.
Will the colours I see on the screen be the same as the colours I see on the
finished canvas or photographic paper?
It should be noted that the colours and appearances of images may vary from monitor to monitor and thus to print. Every effort is made to ensure that colour management is a top priority.
How
do I get a high-resolution scanned image to send to you?
The resolution of your picture is vital. Here are some recommendations to make sure that your original picture is as good as it can be:
Save the image as a JPEG file with high quality - at least 80% or between 10 and 12 in Photoshop.
Set your scanner to the highest quality possible (eg.300dpi) and make sure that the scanner bed is clean and free from dust.
Try to use the most original form of the photo eg. Straight from a digital camera and saved to file. If you are scanning a picture avoid scanning an image, which has already been produced several times since imperfections are introduced each time.
The better the quality of the print you send us the better your final print will be.
If you are taking a picture especially to send to Capture try to take it against a white or plain background.
What
about copyright of my image?
By sending us your image, you are automatically acknowledging that you are the copyright owner of this image, or have obtained permission from the copyright owner in written form, which permits us to print it in accordance with your order.
